winds of change...........

Well, a lot has been going on around here lately, we move into the new house in 41 days- we are very excited. Steven starts his new job tomorrow, he is ready to get going with that. God has really provided for us, just what we needed.

We will be joining Cedar Grove this Sunday, and I am the new "point person" for the children's ministry (meaning I organize everything), and Steven is the new college director-so we are excited about that too! We never had our kids dedicated at any of the other churches-so we will be having all 3 of them dedicated sometime this next month--fun!

Okay-here is the picture of our new house. Okay, okay- I know it looks ugly on the outside-but a new coat of paint on the house and deck-and it will be darling. The inside is WAY cute, and the yard is to die for! It is a 3 bedroom one bath (double vanity), with a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and den(Auburn room:). It has a huge covered deck that runs the length of the house in the backyard, 3 huge pecan trees with perfect branches for a tire swing, and a cute little garden for me to try my green thumb out:)

After much prayer and consideration-Steven and I decided to go way cheaper with our house budget-so we would not be "house poor", and we found this darling little house (actually not that little-1700 Sq Ft). God knew just what we needed right now for our family. Anyway- I will post new pics after we paint it-it will look much different.

We will close on it September 7th, and move in that day-so the countdown is on-57 days!!!

As I wrote in my last post-we are getting very close to purchasing our first home-however, the one we love may be in jeopardy:(
It was a "flip" house, and it will be another week before they have finished with the inside and some upkeep things on the yard. Then for a full week after they get through, they will be accepting offers on the house, and they think they will be getting several. Since this house is so fabulous, and priced so very well for what you get, we are worried that there will be a lot of offers. We have a relatively low ceiling that we can hit with how much we can afford, so if it comes to a bidding war-we fear that we will lose:(
We LOVE the house, and it would be perfect for us right now-so we are praying that these people will accept our offer (4000 above list), think we are a cute couple and that we deserve it, and that we can get the house. So if you think about us-keep that in your prayers-that they would choose us for the house:)
If we can't get that house, here is houseing option #2,
Not as big-but brand spankin' new.
